Motohiro Ando heads up a group of planners, analysts, technologists and producers who form the core of Hakuhodo’s data driven business.
Ando’s marketing career spans more than 25 years, incorporating experience in such varied areas as global branding, account planning, multi media planning and digital solutions, as well as operating the Hakuhodo DY Group’s data management platform. He has received numerous domestic and international dvertising awards, including the Platinum Award and Best Integrated Marketing Campaign Gold Award at the Asian Marketing Effectiveness Awards in 2010, the Grand Prix at ACC CM Festival 2005 and the JAAA Advertising Essay Contest New Face Award. He served on the Marketing Effectiveness jury at ACC CM Festival and, more recently, on the Media jury at Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2015. His publications include Marketing Nation Japan, which describes next-generation marketing, the role of the CMO and the building of platforms for utilizing big data.
