Ikuko joined Hakuhodo in 2001. As a strategic planner, she was involved in developing management and marketing strategies, as well as product development, for numerous companies. In 2012, she was seconded to Hakuhodo Kettle, an agency that delivers integrated communication using PR thinking, providing end-to-end campaign strategy and execution. Ikuko excels at uncovering strong target insights grounded in strategic planning, coupling them with consensus building skills from PR to bring about new-style integrated communication – from inception to post-delivery analysis, Ikuko delivers on the Kettle mission to “Ideas on boil”.
Ikuko created a specialized PR team in 2015, and in 2019, she was promoted to CEO. Leading a team of over 40 integrated-communications specialists, she continues to be heavily involved in marketing planning across a diverse range of clients.
