Ben Russell is a Strategic Insights Analyst at LinkedIn – currently based in Hong Kong. He supports LinkedIn’s Marketing Solutions clients and key media agencies across Asia-Pacific in measuring the effectiveness and impact of their social strategy execution on the platform. Since joining in early 2013, Ben has worked closely with B2B and B2C marketers across Australia and the world’s leading Fortune 500 companies, as they seek to better understand LinkedIn’s audience, the true impact of their advertising, and how to effectively leverage content marketing on the world’s foremost professional publishing platform. Prior to LinkedIn, Ben was an Analyst at Deloitte. As part of Deloitte’s integrative Analytics Applied team, he helped pioneer the deployment of a differentiated, ‘data-driven’ service offering for the Australian market. Partnering with audit, financial services and corporate finance clients, Ben’s team leveraged data to automate the detection of fraud, collusion and financial risk. Ben started his career with Siemens, at their Research and Development hub in Sydney, where he was responsible for the management of information systems and network infrastructure for several years.
