Nobue is the founder and principal of MarriageRings 4 LGBT, an organization that provides support for same-sex/LGBT weddings. Being gay himself, Nobue has spoken at numerous seminars for organizations and educational institutions for a better understanding of LGBT people and the community. In 2015, he hosted Kyushu Rainbow Pride in Fukuoka and attracted 5,000 participants.
